Jim Herman PGA winner credits President Donald Trump!
Jim Herman PGA tour winner at the Wyndham Championship, marked his third PGA Tour title. Jim won the tournament on Sunday, August 16, 2020 and by doing so, he secured a spot in the FedEx Cup playoffs.
Finishing at 21-under 259, 42-year-old Jim Herman PGA winner is well known for his friendship with US President Donald Trump. Winner Jim Herman credited his victory to US President Donald Trump and said:
“I’m very fortunate, I’ve had him in my corner for a long time, one of my biggest fans. So maybe I’ve got another omen. Whenever I play with him, I usually have some good finishes. Last two wins I had played with him either the week or two weeks before. Maybe three weeks is still within the reach of his, I guess, little bit of good luck for me. Yeah, he’s been very supportive of me. Hopefully, you never know, I may get a phone call from him this afternoon.”
In 2019, US President Donald Trump had given Jim Herman PGA winner a putting tip, when the two of them had played a casual round of golf together. US President Donald Trump had at that time suggested Jim Herman winner, use a conventional putting grip. Soon after this, Jim Herman won the Barbasol Championship.
About this win he said:
“Last summer (winning the Barbasol Championship) was just a little validating, overcoming some injuries and just, you know, getting old. You get old pretty quick out here with the young guys. They make you feel inadequate off the tee and especially long irons. You know, it’s mentally frustrating. To overcome it all and get here for a third time is pretty amazing.”
Jim Herman PGA winner added:
“Goodness gracious. Obviously, you don’t expect 61 or 63 on a regular basis, but when you need it, there was nowhere else to go but deep. Best golf I’ve played in my life. In golf, you’re as good as your last round sometimes. It’s easy to forget some of those poor rounds or poor finishes. And I never felt like I was that far off.”
